Rosie Huntington Whiteley is getting hotter and hotter! The the 24-year-old model and actress of “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” was on the world promotional tour in Berlin with director Michael Bay and the stars of the movie Shia LaBeouf, Patrick Dempsey, Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson. Rosie Huntington Whiteley always wows us on the red carpet as usual, this time in Berlin Rosie Huntington Whiteley opted for a glittery and glamours Naeem Khan open black evening gown from Naeem Khan Fall 2011 collection. This stunning lady knows what looks best and what dresses can outshine her model figure. With her curvy hair on the side and red lips make up,  this time Rosie delivers Hollywood glamours on the red carpet that tells the world her transformation - from a hot sexy model to a hot Hollywood movie actress. I love this Naeem Khan’s shot sleeves evening gown covered with glittering silver paisley beading, definitely a showstopper with the open back that can show the curves. However one thing I didn’t get it, why was that a sliver belt on the dress? The belt totally cut across the open back ( the model in this dress on Naeem Khan Fall 2011 runway is “beltless”!)  and I think Miss Whiteley this time was over accessorized! Is the title attractive to you? H&M just annouced Versace as  its Autumn 2011 designer collaboration fashion brand. Hooooray!!!! The Versace for H&M will be designed by Donatella Versace and she reviewed abit about the collaboration as “Iconic, Bold, Glamorous and Rock n’ Roll” ,  there will be both women and men’s collection, avaliable in November 17, 2011 in around 300 stores worldwide, plus online as well! Donatella Versace will also design a pre-spring collection for H&M which will be exclusively available in countries with H&M on-line sales from January 19 ,2012. You can tell from the designer’s sketches that  there will be Versaces signature evening gowns and tight leather dresses which represents rock and glamorus!  I am so look forward to getting all the items to home. Kristen Stewart not only won the Best Female Performance at 2011 MTV Movie Awards, Kristen Stewart wowed us on the red carpet and was definitely the winner of best dressed at 2011 MTV Movie Awards with her safety pin Balmain dress from spring/summer 2011. The Balmain safety pin red tube leather dress that Kristen Stewart was wearing is a custom made red carpet dress, Originally presented as a jacket in Balmain 2011 spring summer runway, this celebrities beloved brand Balmain modified and transformed the patchworked design into a red leather tube dress with studs and safety pins details. As usual with no extravagant accessories, Kristen rocked all the way even she paired the rocker style dress with Christian Louboutin black pointed toe heels and kept her hair simple, though Kristen was the only star opted for Balmain at 2011 MTV Movie Awards, the with this fabulous look, her sweet smiles and especially this unique Balmain safety pin dress, Kristen nailed it and won everyone’s hearts… at least for that night! The news of Blake Lively as the face of Chanel “Mademoiselle” Ad Campaign has been out since last year and finally we got to see the Chanel “Mademoiselle” Ad Campaign and behind-the-scenes photo with the lovely Blake Lively and of course Karl Lagerfeld who did most of the shooting for this ad campaign. The ad is simple but didn’t outshine and show the bubbly and sexiness of Blake Lively, which is good cos it brings out the image that Blake Lively is not only “too sexy” but can be feminine as well. Honestly I expect more …. from Blake Lively …

I got myself a little piece of Chanel jewelry before New Year - is a Chanel brooch with pearl details from 2011 spring and summer collection. Usually girls opt for Chanel earrings or Chanel necklaces other then Chanel brooch, haha same same  I was planning to get Chanel earrings  before I went to the shop ,but when I saw the brooch in glass drawer I couldn’t help myself but to bought this beautiful Chanel brooch home. To be honest with you, I have lots accessories like earrings and necklace but I don’t have many brooches cos I think brooch is not a versatile fashionable accessory that is easy to wear. But guess what, brooches in fact can turnaround your outfit and brighten up your ordinary dull color jackets, striking the same effect with a statement necklace! One cold Sunday afternoon, I matched the Marc Jacobs military jacket with my new Chanel pearl brooch and another military style brooch from Accessorize, style up with the Lanvin happy bag, H&M leather pants and leopard shoes, when scarf will cover your statement necklace, wearing brooches give a surprise touch on my oliver dull color Marc Jacobs jacket! As I am “non brooch” person , it was an out of the blue fashion match in cold shopping day, but I felt good trying something new on my outfit!

It has been quite a long while I haven’t updated my fashion blog Dress Like Starz. So what have I been doing? Well besides the daily hectic work at she.com ( currently one of  top female online network that I am working for in Hong Kong) , I have done my crazy Christmas shopping in October and Novemeber, including lots online shopping on shopbop,  Topshop and ASOS, not to mention shopping for the fashionista to-die-for fashion item - LANVIN for H&M. So my dear readers please stay tune cos I will be bringing you my “Look of the Day” more often!

Last month I was hosting MOSCHINO Toujours Glamour perfume launch event and I made a toujours glamour look for myself , it was more like a rock and chic style that played an echo with the celebrity guest G.E.M. Among all items I really love the Gamlila Skovgaard chained heels as they are pretty but surprisingly comfortable! Also the crystals on Topshop Diamante Ruch Bandeau Dress matches the navy blue perfectly and it reminds me of  Vincent Van Gogh “Starry Night”.

Perhaps it can be one of the Christmas party dressing style you can have for out shining in the festive holiday! What do you think?

Besides the Gossip Girl sweetheart Blake Lively and Leighton Meester can be found on the front row of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week Fall 2010, the real life version of Blair Wardolf  - New York socialite Olivia Palmero also hit the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. With her photogenic face and impressive fashion statement,  this young fashionable beauty won the spot lights and camera focus of the street fashion photo bloggers and photographers for the street fashion snaps. I have to admit that I always adore Olivia Palmero’s impeccable fashion style and her aptitude in matching her accessory items and catering a style statement on every kind of outfit  - a clashing animal belt with purple printed dress from Elie Saab , the jeweled statement organza with the water print gown from Valentino Spring 2010 and the embellished silver floral clutch with the romanic and the sexy lace ruffled dress from Valentino Spring 2010!  Olivia never giving her idea in accessorize and matching, and I believe this time on Olivia Palmero the most significant and attractive thing that caught girls’ attention should be her handsome model boyfriend Johannes Huebl! Agree?

Blake Lively and Leighton Meester were spotted filming scenes for “Gossip Girl” season 4  in Paris, while these ladies are working hard in filming, they do enjoy their time and find Parisian pleasure at front row at the Chanel Haute Couture fashion show as part of the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week Fall 2011. Surprise is the first impression that Blake Lively and Leighton Meester gave me, as they opt for totally different style of Chanel Outfits - Fall vs Summer , or Night vs Day. Leighton Meester opted for Chanel Pre-Fall 2010 long sleeves leather dress with gold chains embellishment, finished the look with Chanel bracelets, a statement necklace and paired with black Christian Louboutin open-toe ankle boots. Leighton looked great and I like her versatile look when she is not acting Blair in Gossip Girl. But just wonder , doesn’t she feel sweaty and super hot in leader dress under such hot weather in Paris? Another surprise is that Blake Lively gave up her standard ” too sexy” fashion style and opted for a Chanel Resort 2011 floral chiffon dress. Blake looks great and girlie in this beads strapped Chanel Resort dress, with minimal makeup and accessories. However I think it is way too causal for the front row of Chanel Haute Couture fashion show and actually Blake would look better and breezy in it for touring around in Paris or on beach side. So what do you think about their fashion choice at front row at the Chanel Haute Couture fashion show?

Perhaps you may not mark Kristen Stewart’s usual laid back non-fussy fashion style in your fashion look book, this Twilight actress did make a much better effort on the red carpets of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” worldwide premiere promotion. I am not sure if black is Kirsten’s favorite color but it seems that Kristen Stewart appears to be addicted in wearing LBDs, and this time she tried different designer brands to bring us more variation in the fashion of black. Among those LBDs on Kristen Stewart, I like the jersey mini dress from Versace Fall 2010 and the cut-out sheer dress from Hervé Léger Fall 2010 collection. These 2 LBDs fitted her perfectly and matched with different hair color and hair-do. I would not ask ” what else can you find in her closet besides black?” but I think what’s should be improved on this teen actress is adding a pop of color on her LBDs and her shoes choice, cos while booties and strappy heels can make a statement for the outfit, always sporting black peep-toes or pumps seem kind of boring. Agree?

You may wonder, it isn’t July 4 yet and is too early for Halloween costume, then why Katy Perry is on this US and UK flags all in one dress?  It all makes sense as 2010 FIFA World Cup  kicked-off  last week and the US and England World Cup tie game was on yesterday (June 12) , so Katy Perry was cheering on the Team USA and Team England with her unique fashion statement in London. The 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards is one of the most fashionable fetes of the year, in this star studded event you can always find A-List hollywood stars and fashion icons in designers’ gowns. This year there was a special tribute being made to the late designer Alexander McQueen, and so in the memory of this fantastic desinger, the Sex and the City star and also Alexander McQueen’s good friend Sarah Jessica Parker appeared in a pink and purple printed gown from  Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2010 collection in the 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards , as the presenter of DA Board of Directors’ Special Tribute Award’ to the late designer. Again, the sweet Sarah Jessica Parker did a wonderful honor and respect to Alexander McQueen in wearing his label in such a remarkable fashion event.  The color and prints is ctually quite hard to carry well but the it matches SJP’s style and she looked good with semi all back hair style, jeweled earrings, stack of chunky bracelets and a grey little handbag.

Yellow is always that summer color that we should embrace, so does Whitney Port! “The City” star  Whitney Port did a spectacular and fantastic choice of wearing Yigal Azrouël yellow and nude bandage dress from Yigal Azrouël spring 2010 at the MTV Movie Awards 2010 ( June 7). Dazzling up with the beautiful Sergio Rossi beige suede booties with crystals from 2010 summer collection, no matter the dress or the heels, it’s a wonderful match and an outfit that definitely my NO.1 fashion pick, especially the crystal fishnet booties, I would die for it! I love the yellow appliqués on the nude color dress, so bright, edgy,  and a bit flirty with the sheer bustline! Whitney Port is already a shining star and the red carpet with just bare make-up and minimal accessories. What an outstanding stylista and awarded with two thumbs up ! We got it, Sarah Jessica Parker loves Nicholas Kirkwood ! SJP was sporting the Nicholas Kirkwood Fall 2010 ‘Kasia’ black and turquoise spray-painted platform sandals two days in a row at the Sex and the City 2 New York Premiere after-party and the next morning on the “Late Show with David Letterman”. Perhaps she knew how disappointed we were with her previous choice of wearing the silver satin Ferragamo double platform pumps at the Sex and the City 2 New York Premiere, so this time,  Sarah Jesscia Parker opted for this edgy Nicholas Kirkwood lace up sandals with bright turquoise and lattice detail to add a blast of color and sex up on both outfits!
